Q:  Who is NOJAK Pumping Solutions?
A:
NOJAK Pumping Solutions is a DBA for Airlift Services International, Inc (ASI).  Airlift Services International is a portfolio company of Shell Technology Ventures Fund 1 B.V. (“STV Fund”).  STV Fund’s majority investor is Royal Dutch Shell.

Q:  How does the system work?
A:
The NOJAK uses a series of fluid chambers (10 to 20 feet apart) that are connected by approximately 250 feet of lines.  The bottom stage fills by gravity, and then gas pressure is used to lift the oil to the next stage.

For more detailed information, please contact us, or see How it Works.

Q:  How deep can the system operate?
A:
The depth operation depends in part on the amount of fluid lifted.

For more detailed information, please contact us.

Q:  Can you remove fluid from a gas well?
A:
Yes the NOJAK can be used to remove fluid from gas wells.

For more detailed information, please contact us, or see Gas Wells.

Q:  How much is the system?
A:
The cost of the NOJAK system is relative to the specifics of the well.

For more detailed pricing information, please contact us.

Q:  What size well bore does the system need to operate?
A:
The system needs at least 4 1/2 inch casing. We can operate with any casing size above this as well as open hole completion.

Q:  Do I still need rods, pumps, and tubing?
A:
No. The NOJAK is a complete turnkey system and replaces all rods, pumps, and tubing.

Q: How is the system installed?
A:
The system can be installed without any traditional oil/gas field equipment.

For more detailed information, please contact us.

Q: Can the system handle corrosion?
A:
The system is manufactured with the best quality stainless steel and plastics. Since we use no traditional rods and tubing, we are very successful in high corrosion wells.

Q: Are chemicals required with the system?
A:
We recommend a complete analysis of the chemicals you currently use. With the NOJAK system, we’ve seen a significant reduction in requirements for chemicals.

Q: How much testing has been done on the system?
A:
The current production NOJAK model has been tested since 1992 with more than 175.000 barrels of fluid being pumped.

Q: Do you offer financing?
A:
Yes, financing is available.

Q: Do you take equipment in trade?
A:
We will take current rod pump equipment as down payment depending on total contract terms.

Q: What is your warranty policy?
A:
We warranty all downhole equipment for 1 year, and all technology for 1 year under proper terms and conditions.

Q: What equipment is required above ground?
A:
A gas compressor is required that is sized depending on the number of wells and production volumes. The electronic and valve panels are located on the surface. There are no moving parts at the wellhead, with all above ground equipment located at the wellhead or remotely.

Q: Can the system be buried below ground?
A:The system requires an above ground compressor and control panel. These pieces of equipment can be located remotely, thus allowing the wellhead to be placed below the surface. The wellhead can be located below a paved road, a parking lot or a farmer’s field.

Q: What kind of maintenance can I expect with the NOJAK System
A:The NOJAK System has no underground moving parts, which eliminates most downhole maintenance. Timing adjustments are made with a keypad on the controller. Other than routine compressor oil changes, the NOJAK System is virtually maintenance free.
